Full house at the premiere of Csongor and Tünde!

The fairy tale film hits cinemas on April 17!

 Based on the designs of Attila Dargay, this animated film turned the Cinema City Aréna into a true children’s wonderland — full of games, laughter, sparkling lights, and applause!

Among those present at the premiere were the film’s two directors, Csaba Máli and Zsolt Pálfi, scriptwriter Krisztián Balassa, dialogue writer Dávid Speier, producer Réka Temple, Irén Henrik (widow and colleague of Attila Dargay), and voice director Csaba Krisztián Csík. The main characters were voiced by well-known Hungarian actors: Angéla Eke (Tünde), Magdolna Menszátor (Mirigy), Gábor Csőre (Duzzog), Péter Vida (Berreh), Anna Lamboni (Ilma)

The film was inspired by the legacy of Attila Dargay, one of Hungary’s most beloved animation directors. The team at Cinemon Entertainment sought to honor and continue his artistic vision. Irén Henrik, the director’s widow, actively participated in the creative process.

Csongor and Tünde is a story of love that overcomes all obstacles — a prince searching for happiness and a fairy-tale heroine embark on an epic adventure. Told through the magic of animation, this tale of courage and friendship brings a timeless classic to a new generation of children.
